📜 About Hanuman Chalisa
The Hanuman Chalisa is traditionally attributed to Goswami Tulsidas, the celebrated poet and devotee of Lord Rama.
The word “Chalisa” comes from the Hindi word chalis, meaning forty, referring to the forty chaupais that form the central portion of the hymn.
It is traditionally recited as an expression of devotion to Lord Hanuman and remembrance of his virtues — particularly courage, wisdom, strength, humility and unwavering devotion to Lord Rama.
